Julia Fullerton-Batten’s book “The Act” was given the esteemed Award of Excellence by Communication Arts and will be published in the Photography Annual 59. Of the 3,401 entries submitted to the 59th annual photography competition, only 127 were selected by a jury of respected creative professionals, representing the work of photographers, videographers, design firms, agencies, publishers and in-house creative departments. “The Act” portrays the lives and skills of women who voluntarily engage in the UK sex industry.
